Billiionaire Anil Agarwal’s Vedanta Ltd shares witnessed decline of 19.77% from 52-week high price of 527 per share. Last trading price of Vedanta shares on BSE stood at Rs 422.80 per share with intraday fall of 3.48%. However, the stock gained 1.85% in last 1-week when Sensex slipped 2.03% and BSE metal index zoomed 2.65%. Earlier on February 21, 2025 the Company was declared as ‘Preferred Bidder’ for the Kauhari Diamond Block (on highest Final Price Offer of 1.10%). Meanwhile, the diversified metals company has a market capitalisation of Rs 1,65,331.21 crore. Its return on equity stood at 22.07%. Vedanta Declared As Preffered Bidder For Kauhari Diamond Block

According to the exchange filing of the company issued on Feb 21, 2025, “via notification dated February 20, 2025 (received by the Company today), the Company has been declared as ‘Preferred Bidder’ for the Kauhari Diamond Block (on highest Final Price Offer of 1.10%). As per the tender document, the Kauhari Diamond Block is at G4 level of exploration with total area of 643.4169 hectares for the block.”

Vedanta Shares Drop 19.77% From 52-Week High Price

The stock witnessed decline of 19.77% from 52-week high price of Rs 527 per share, if yesterday’s last trading price of Rs 422.80 is considered. However, the stock soared 69.29% from 52-week low price of Rs 249.75 per share.

According to A R Ramachandran, SEBI registered Independent research analyst, “Vedanta stock price is bearish on the Daily charts with strong resistance at 443.  A Daily close below support of 422 could lead to a target of 398 in the near term.”
