Steps to Apply for PAN 2.0 via NSDL
- Visit the official site of NSDL e-PAN Portal at https://www.onlineservices.nsdl.com/paam/requestAndDownloadEPAN.html
- Enter your details, such as PAN, Aadhaar number (mandatory for individuals), and date of birth (DoB). Ensure the information is correct to avoid any issues.
- Tick the applicable checkboxes to confirm your information is correct.
- Now, submit the information by clicking on the submit button and review the displayed information.
- Choose your preferred method to receive a One-Time Password (OTP) and enter it within 10 minutes to validate your details.
- Select a payment method. Please note that the service is free for up to three requests within 30 days of PAN issuance; thereafter, a fee of Rs 8.26/- (inclusive of taxes) will be charged.
- Upon successful payment, your e-PAN will be sent to your registered email ID within approximately 30 minutes.

- Visit the official UTIITSL website at https://www.pan.utiitsl.com/PAN_ONLINE/ePANCard
- Fill in your required details, such as PAN, date of birth, and match the captcha code to proceed
- Submit the details to check if your email ID is registered.
- If your email is not registered, you will need to update it under the PAN 2.0 project (this update is free of charge).
- Similar to NSDL, if you request an e-PAN after 30 days from its last issuance, a fee of Rs 8.26 will apply.
- Download the e-PAN mailed to your registered email ID in PDF format.
Important Notes
- Ensure that all documents are legible and meet size specifications when uploading.
- The e-PAN features enhanced security with a QR code.
- Keep track of your application using the unique acknowledgment number generated after submission.
