RRB Recruitment 2025: Apply Online For Over 32,000 Posts

Are you trying looking for a job? Here is a great opportunity for you. Railway Recruitment has initiated the hiring process for a total of 32,438 Group D posts. Candidates will be eligible to apply online at the official website of RRBs starting from January 23 to February 22, 2025, last date for application. RRB issued the official notification of Group D against CEN No 08/2024 in Level 1 of 7th CPC Pay Matrix. If RRB selects the candidate, they will be asked to give computer-based test, undergo medical examination, document verification, physical efficiency test (PET), and empanelment.

RRB will conduct the recruitment for Level 1 positions for several departments that will include Technical Department for Electrical, S&T, and Mechanical, Track Maintainer Grade-IV. Check key details:

Deadline

The deadline to apply for RRB posts is February 22, 2025. Candidates can pay exam fee by February 24, 2025 as that the last date. The correction or modification date is February 25, 2025 to March 06, 2025, according to reports.

Examination Fee

Candidates applying for RRB posts will be required to pay the exam fee of Rs 500. They will get a refund of Rs 400 in due course after deduction of bank charges as levied on appearing in CBT.

Meanwhile, for female, transgender, PbBD, ex-servicemen applicants coming under SC/ST/EBC or economically backward class/ minority, the fee will be Rs 250. Candidates will get their refund in due course after deduction of bank charges.

Candidates must pay the examination fee via debit card, credit card, net banking, or UPI.

Age Limit

In order to determine the eligibility of the candidates, the age limit of applicants has been set between 18 to 36 years as on January 1, 2025.

Candidates need to follow the steps given below:

Go to official website of RRB i.e. http://www.rrbcdg.gov.in/
Candidates need to click on “new registration” link
Applicants need to fill details such name, DOB, father & mother’s name, Aadhaar card number, passing year, mobile number, email address, SSLC/Matric registration number, etc to submit the registration form
After filling the above details, candidates need to do verification of mobile number and email address via OTP
Log on to the home page with the help of given registration number along with password
Candidates will be redirected to payment page to pay the application fee
Candidates need to select exam language
Fill details of valid photo identity proof
Fill bank details in order to receive refund of fee
Upload scanned pictures of photographs along with signature according to the format
SC/ST applicants need to upload category certificates
Candidates must keep a printout of the confirmation page for future use

Salary

The basic pay is Rs 18,000 for Level 1 of 7^th CPC Pay Matrix. Allowances will include DA, HRA, TA, etc. The perks for the candidates will consist of railway travel and medical benefits. Candidates will get opportunities for promotion when it comes to growth.
