V-Mart share price today gained 2.92% on Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) to Rs 3370.50 per share as Sensex rallied 259.75 points to 80,501.99. The Board of Directors of the diversified retail sector company recommended 3:1 bonus share, implying shareholders will be eligible to receive 3 bonus shares for every 1 share held as on the record date. The company has yet to declare the record date for bonus shares. This is the first ever bonus issue that the company recommended.
Meanwhile, the company announced its net profit for Q4FY25 at Rs 18.51 crore as against Rs -39 crore declared in Q4FY24. The company announced its revenue from operations for Q4FY25 at Rs 780.08 crore as against Rs 668.60 crore reported in the corresponding quarter of last year. Meanwhile, FII/FPI holdings zoomed from 17.32% to 17.48% in March 2025 quarter. V-Mart Retail Ltd Recommends Bonus Shares: According to the BSE filing of the company dated May 2, 2025, βThe Board of Directors in its meeting held on May 02, 2025 has approved, subject to shareholder approval, the issue of 3 fully paid bonus equity shares for every 1 fully paid equity share of face value Rs 10. The record date for determining the eligibility of shareholders for the bonus issue will be announced separately.β

The company declared its total income for the quarter under review jumped to Rs 782.41 crore 673.03 crore reported in Q4FY24. Total expenses stood at Rs 783.70 crore for Q4FY25 as compared to Rs 725.02 crore. The company declared its earning per share for Q4FY25 surged to Rs 9.35 from Rs -19.68 in Q4FY24.Β The Company remains focused on its store expansion plan, opening 13 new stores and closing 4 stores during the quarter. For the full year FY25, it added 62 new stores and closed 9.
