Gold price in India today retreated from peak but prices are on track for 8th consecutive weekly gain amid rising safe-haven demand on persistent concerns over US President Donald Trump’s tariff plans. 24k gold price in the country declined from record peak to Rs 87,750/10 grams after decline of Rs 290 while 100 grams of 24k precious metal prices slipped by Rs 2900 to Rs 8,77,500 on Friday. 22k gold price today edged lower by Rs 450 to Rs 80,250/10 grams and 100 grams of 22k yellow metal prices slipped by Rs 4,500 to Rs 8.02,500.
On the other hand, 18k gold price today stood at Rs 65,660/10 grams after decline of Rs 370 and 100 grams of 18k precious metal prices slipped Rs 3,700 to Rs 6,56,600, according to Goodreturns.in.
