Large cap Maharatna CPSE NTPC Ltd share price today gained 0.58% on Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) to settle at Rs 345.15 per share as Sensex ended the day with the decline of 271.17 points to 82,059.42. The company informed today about its upcoming meeting of Board of Directors scheduled to be held on May 24, 2025 to consider financial results and final dividend, if any for financial year 2024-25. The stock witnessed decline of 5.20% in last 1-month as Sensex surged 4.46%, BSE Power index rallied 1.76%, and BSE Utilities index slid 0.46% during the similar time period. The PSU on January 25, 2025 recommended its second interim dividend of Rs 2.5 per share of the face value of Rs 10/- each as shares hit ex-dividend on January 31, 2025.
The company is all set to consider its next dividend on May 24, 2025 and if the dividend is declared it will be its 44th dividend. According to the exchange filing of NTPC dated May 19, 2025, βIn terms of Regulation 29 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015 (βSEBI Listing Regulations, 2015β), it is hereby intimated that a meeting of the Board of Directors of the Company is scheduled to be held at New Delhi on Saturday, 24th May 2025, to inter-alia, consider & approve the following:
1. Annual Standalone and Consolidated Financial Statements for the financial year ended on 31st March 2025 after these results are reviewed by the Audit Committee of the Board.
