Tata Power Recommends Final Dividend
According to the exchange filing of the Tata Group stock dated May 14, 2025, βThe Board has recommended a final dividend of Rs 2.25 per Equity Share of Re 1 each (@ 225%) to the Members for the financial year ended March 31, 2025. The dividend recommended by the Board is subject to the approval of the Members at the forthcoming 106th Annual General Meeting (‘AGM’) of the Company scheduled to be held on Friday, July 4, 2025.β
Tata Power Sets Record Date For Final Dividend
The exchange filing of the company said it fixed June 20, 2025 as the record date for the aforementioned final dividend. The dividend, if approved by the Members at the AGM, will be paid, subject to deduction of tax at source, on and from Monday, July 7, 2025 as under:
- to all Beneficial Owners in respect of shares held in electronic form as per the data as may be made available by depositories at the close of business hours on Friday June 20, 2025; and
- to all those Members holding shares in physical form, whose names stand registered in the Companyβs Register of Members as Members on the close of the business hours on Friday June 20, 2025.
Tata Power Q4FY25 Results
The company announced its revenue from operations for Q4FY25 at Rs 17,095.88 crore, showing a surge of 7.88% as against Rs 15,846.58 crore reported in the corresponding quarter of last year. Tata Power declared the total income jumped to Rs 17,446.95 crore from Rs 16,463.94 crore declared in Q4FY24. Total expenses of the company announced at Rs 16,179.77 crore for Q4FY25 as against Rs 15,691.24 crore, according to the BSE filing.
According to the exchange filing, βTata Power, one of India’s largest integrated power companies, continues its strong growth momentum for the 22nd consecutive quarter with the Company posting a Profit After Tax (PAT) of Rs 1,306 crore (up 25%YoY) and revenue of Rs 17,328 crore (up 7% YoY). EBITDA for Q4FY25 rose 14% to Rs 3,829 crore on the back of strong performance across the core businesses comprising generation, T&D, and renewables. Core business PAT* grew by 52% (YoY) to βΉ 1,541 crore.β
In Q4FY25, the Distribution segment recorded an impressive 73% YoY growth in PAT, driven primarily by Odisha DISCOMs’ strong performance. Odisha DISCOMs’ PAT surged 3x to βΉ 275 crore, supported by improved billing and collection efficiencies, along with lower ECL provisions.
